Any advice to an undergraduate student seeking a degree in psychology?
Hi, I am a freshman at an undergraduate school with a Biology major, and I am thinking about switching majors to Psychology. I didn't like biology because I don't enjoy the subject I am learning and I have difficulty understanding the material. I am more as a peoples-person, and that is why I feel like Biology isnt my thing. What can you tell me about switching majors to Psychology? I heard its a popular major and people use it to get into doctor schools and medical school, and basically everywhere else. I heard its an easy major and since I am a peoples person with great analytical skills and deductive reasoning skills, I feel like based on what I've heard, this might be a major that would not only be easy, I would get the concept and it would be rather enjoyable. Your thoughts?

Drop any notion of wanting to be a doctor if you can't handle pre-med and are looking for an easy path through life. Lots of people doing psychology = it's a bird course. You'll get a degree, but a lot of people doing psych actively avoid the courses that you're going to need to do the MCAT and get into medical school. You're on the track to being a school counselor or psychotherapist. Not a doctor - or even a psychiatrist, which is more science-based.
Sounds like you've already sold yourself a bit short- but the road to medical school is hard. If you can't do it, best to get off and do what you can.

Psychology is a useless degree with just a BA or BS. You must at least get a 2 Year masters but preferably a PhD. It is also a very popular major so competition to even get into a grad school is fierce.
