What where the immediate consequences of the French Revolution for who?

The rest of Europe, the French Nobility, it's general populace or... WHO?

    Ex:

As France convulsed, the rest of Europe was faced with a massive ideological challenge. With the French as an example, attempted and sometimes successful revolutions would take place after 1815 across Europe.

Source(s): Most immediate consequences include certain people losing their heads on guillotines.

A leadership vacuum which was filled by Napoleon Bonaparte (based to a large extent on his own propaganda demonstrating his abilities as a soldier and a leader).

This was followed by the Napoleonic Wars and the creation of Napoleon's Empire.

Sources to commence research could include:

Source(s): Doyle, William - The Oxford History of the French Revolution: Second Edition. New York: Oxford University Press: 2002 Durant, Will and Ariel - The Story of Civilization: Volume 11: The Age of Napoleon. New York: Simon and Schuster: 1975 Dwyer, Philip - Napoleon: The Path to Power. New Haven: Yale University Press: 2007 Dwyer, Philip - Citizen Emperor: Napoleon in Power, 1799-1815. New York: Bloomsbury: 2013

Sources are books in the library. You can find many introductory books on the Revolution.
