Fungus around pubic area?
So I have this sort of fungus looking thing around my pubic area right next to my penis. I know its not an STD, ive never had sex. Its probably caused by moisture around the pubic area. Ive had it for over a year, it isnt serious, its just there and i havent bothered to take care of it. So how do i get rid of it? Would just scrubbing regular soap in the shower really good on it cause it to go away? Or do i have to get some special cream or soap?

That's jock itch. It is a fungus. It's the same fungus that causes athlete's foot, except that's between the toes.
Go to the drug store and buy cream for jock itch. If you can't handle that, buy a cream for athlete's foot. They're exactly the same.

Not "Serious" but yes if you have had it for over a year, then you should apply some jock itch cream such as "Lamasil" You can get it at your pharmacy.
