Your views on abortion vs pro life?

Church paper, not school paper. If someone doesn't want to be pregnant, then they should be able to get an abortion, if it's not third term. After 30 weeks, abortions are done for medical necessity.

Practically everything so-called pro-lifers say is pious fraud or irrelevant. An abortion during early pregnancy are safer than pregnancy and birth. Lungs, fingernail, heartbeat, hair, feet, none of those things determine personhood. When a person has a lung or heart transplant, it's not like that person ceases to exist, and the heart donor continues to live. There are people without fingernails, feet, or hair. Personhood comes from the brain, specifically the cerebral cortex and thalamus, when don't develop until the 30th week.

So your church is trying to train you to lie to people to convince them not to have a medical procedure that they want. A decision they've made to take responsibility for their situation.

If you need to write the paper, then do so without the "pro-life" fraudulence. Maybe your paper could be about someone at 26 weeks, and you're argument is that maybe they've been pregnant a month longer than they realized. There's certainly an argument for having a 4-6 week period where you err on the side of fetal personhood.

Ask the "teacher" when you are going to write a paper trying to talk someone out of having their kidney stones removed.

Biology 101: "The life of an individual organism of any sexually reproducing species begins at the moment of fertilization". A woman doesn't know she is pregnant until her son or daughter has been alive for at least 5 to 6 weeks. Therefore, abortion is the premeditated murder of a human being.

Science does not know what life is, let alone when it begins. The religious say it begins at, or very shortly after conception. I.e., a soul enters the zygote. So, they consider abortion to be murder, as the soul is denied the opportunity to continue.

It's pretty much that simple.

Abortion should be legalized, but the negative aspects of abortion should be checked

"Let's keep abortion safe, legal, and rare."

That's essentially my view on it.

Abortion is immoral and should be made illegal. No-one should decide who lives and who dies.
