Yeah. I go through stages where I won't play for months or years then I'll pick them back up. I, actually, play quite a bit now since television and Netflix bore me. When I come in from work, I'm too tired to go work out or hang out with people. Here in a year I bet I'll stop playing video games and start being more active. Nothing is wrong with video games. Now that i'm older (mid 20's) i just find myself unimpressed or bored by video games; they seem overly silly or childish a lot of the time. I guess its the realization that you are literally just sitting down testing a simulation program and doing repetitive things over and over again. It feels pointless and like a giant waste of time. The PS3 is good enough; the PS4's screen resolution is the same (1080p) so while the graphics ARE better, when you play stuff moves so the quality increase isn't really that noticeable. And let's face it, SO many games really are 'more of the same' (especially game series), so .... well I can't be bothered to trade up.
