JBL L100 versus 4412 monitirs.?
is there any difference that my non audiophile ears will detect between these 2 speakres?? the L100 century model has sky rocketed in price recently and I found 4412s on CL for $550. good look cabinets too....owner says the electronics are in tiop sdhape.

They will be pretty close, but probably not identical.
An untrained / non-critical listener
won't notice enough difference for it to matter.
Maybe I shouldn't mention that, about a decade ago,
I bought a pair of 4311s at a moving sale for $25...
I found that they sound a lot like the L19s I've owned since 1981,
but with sightly better bass.
