Yes. I didn't think "ew", but l wondered why I liked him because he wasn't my type.

No that's pretty cruel and harsh to associate the word ew with a person.
However there were times when I saw something I liked in a guy, and it confused others.

Not over something as shallow as their appearance, but I did once befriend a guy who held utterly polar opposite political opinions to me.
He was a hard right nutter spouting hate about immigrants and how socialism has rotted out the core of our society and values blah blah blah. Yet I couldn't help but like they guy, he was witty and easy going. I don't see him often these days but he's still a good laugh whenever I meet him at gatherings. I've just had to get used to jettisoning his racist language and xenophobia from my head after conversations. We never once managed to budge either one of us in our political and social viewpoints.

uh yes XD it was awkward cuz then someone presumed i liked them when i didnt and got over it then! and then that person never talks to me again XD nosey prick they are lol
