Weren't the Twilight fans and anime fans in war before?
I know that I shouldn't bring up Twilight because lots of people hate it but I really do hate Twilight. I was wondering if the Twilight fandom and the anime fandom were in war before just like when the Twilight fandom were in war with the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a huge anime fan and I hate Twilight. One of the reasons is because some Twilight fans hate anime. Please don't take this offensively if you like Twilight. I'm sorry that I have to say this but I'm just wondering if the Twilight fandom and anime fandom hate each other.

No idea. I enjoy anime and I use to like Twilight. I loved the books but when I read other books, in comparison, Twilight was as nice as unflushed toilet water. Anime has better characters. There are still clichés but not as bad as how Mary Sue and Marty Stu the main pair of Twilight were. Besides, its not only anime fans who don't like twilight, bookworms also find it sickening.

Twilight is a singular story/series. Anime encompasses thousands of different stories/series ranging from complete crap to masterpiece. I am unaware of a Twilight vs anime argument but there is zero argument for Twilight to be better than all anime has to offer.
