Thoughts on the election results?

Great result, all the hype was about the "new left" and UKIP, and the Conservatives were forgotten about.

I think the new left and UKIP have found out just what most people in the country think of them today. Massive win that nobody saw coming.

Let them f*ck up the country, at least then they can reduce the deficit.

Who cares about the increasing number of people dependent on food banks, the soaring number of homeless people and children raised in poverty, and the empty shell that was once an incredible national health service run for the benefit of the public, now being run for private sector profit?

37% of the 66% that actually voted got what they wanted (not counting illegible people). That's less than a quarter of the eligible populace of Britain having who they wanted in charge. Is that Democracy? I don't think so. I think changes need to be made to the voting system. I hate agreeing with Nigel Farage, but first-past-the-post is outdated. We had a referendum to change it, after the Lib Dem's were revealed to have no spine and were completely untrustworthy. And that is the main reason why it never succeeded. Another referendum is needed, but is unlikely. It is against the party that gets into power's interest to change it, because it is first-past-the-post that got them into power. Why would they change it to a new system where they may not get into power? Proportional Representation and Single Transferable Vote are considerably better alternatives, but the government won't care because FPTP gets them the result they want.

This 24.4% of the eligible population have voted for a party that allowed the wealthiest 1000 people in this country to double their wealth in just 5 years. In the meantime working class people's pay packages have been hit the hardest for 40 years.

They voted for the party whose MPs almost all voted "NO" on a law that should have been passed to allow investigations into alleged historic paedophilia on a mass scale to be carried out more thoroughly and honestly. Do you know why? Because some of the alleged persecutors were ex Tory MPs and Conservative party funders!

They have voted for a party whose main purpose is to generate wealth for their business owning, bank running, rich, shareholder friends. At the expense of everybody else.

They have voted for more privatisation, austerity and social warfare to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

Of course you're happy with the result - you're as big a sponging parasite as they are, you right-wing scumbag. Selfish prick - this fvcking country is in the state it is because of people like you. You feed off of the vulnerable and take, take, take whilst giving nothing back. Not sure how you look at your ugly face in the mirror you thick piece of garbage.

"I think the new left and UKIP have found out just what most people in the country think of them today. "

People voted Tory because they were scared of a Labour/SNP coalition, you utterly moronic cvnt. You're as clueless about politics as you are football.

The last five years under this parasitic government have been an unmitigated disaster. It's only going to get worse. I know a really nice guy who was living on £75 a week - he was unable to work and forced to live on that. But does slime like you give a toss? No you just judge and call him a parasite for being given such an extravagant sum.

You and your ilk are the scum of the earth - a minority of parasites who've never done a hard days work in their lives and just steal from the rest of us. You fvvking ugly CVNT.

we should make a totally new party and system for fun old ones are dull as anything. There should be a programme on TV kind of like x factor where groups get together and share there aieas and policies. There should be judges (like x factor) the best et through and we all get to vote. No more watching boring ugly old people with nothing intresting to say

I voted for Przemek Skwirczynski of the United Kingdom independence party so we can get out of the EU and stop all of these immigrants coming over from eastern Europe.

said more than 1000 people without any sense of irony
