Ladies, would you date a 37 year old guy who's got his act together overall but has had a vasectomy?

Hi ladies. I'm just curious. I know a single guy who is looking for a serious relationship with a woman around his own age. He hasn't dated in years and naturally has his own concerns about getting back out there in the dating market. Here's the question. Would you date a 37 year old guy who's never been married, never had kids, is healthy and fit, has a Masters degree, has a full-time job with good money and benefits, has his own apartment but has had a vasectomy? He said he may pay to get it reversed someday if he can find the right woman to marry him who wants to have kids in their late 30s too. He thinks the vasectomy might repel some women to date him but I told him I think it should be a plus because that means unlimited lovemaking without worrying about the woman getting pregnant. What do you think?  Thanks.

I am not a lady, but I am here to hand out some advice.

I had a vasectomy at 21.  I have no children.  I am 49 now.  My wife is just fine with it.  My previous wife was just fine with it.  Pretty much every woman I ever dated was just fine with it. The only exception is those who are 18-24 or so.

There are plenty of women who are OK with it.

I am pretty sure that women who do not want children outnumber men. Then, of course, there are many who have one child, and do not want more.

Most women describe me as "thoughtful", for getting a vasectomy.

A lot of people will tell you that a vasectomy is will exclude you from the "dating pool".  No single man who has had a vasectomy would tell you that.

Of course. Babies are gross.  I would not have it any other way. I had my tubal ligation at 27.
