Burning feeling in stomach between naval and breast bone after drinking alcohol?
I get a burning feeling after drinking rum in my stomach. It doesn't happen when drinking pop or eating spicy foods, just after drinking. Could this be a stomach ulcer or just irritation? The doctor didn't seem too concerned but said to keep an eye on it.

An ulcer would be affected by more than alcohol. It's just mother nature's way of letting you know alcohol is poisonous.
