  • Burning feeling in stomach between naval and breast bone after drinking alcohol?

I get a burning feeling after drinking rum in my stomach. It doesn't happen when drinking pop or eating spicy foods, just after drinking. Could this be a stomach ulcer or just irritation? The doctor didn't seem too concerned but said to keep an eye on it.

  • Training in dallas for southwest employees?

I m working through the process of being hired and I know that once hired, you must spend 8 days in dallas for training. What s it like? Do they put you up in a hotel? Do you get free time or is everything organized for you in an itinerary? Also, how do you get around? Are you provided with a rental car?

  • Does a failure to control a motor vehicle accident prevent crossing border into canada for vacation?

I swerved to miss an animal and lost control and wrecked into the median. I believe it's a minor misdemeanor in Ohio but I'm taking my fiance to Quebec City for our honeymoon and I don't want to be denied entry.

  • I'm worried about a brain tumor. (i've posted many times before.)?

First of all I'm a 21 year old male who is overall healthy. I've worried for years that I've had a brain tumor because I'm a hypo and I have a lot of medical anxiety. About a year ago I had double vision which came and went for a month or so. I haven't experienced it since. Now I was recently diagnosed with DVT and PE which is now under control and monitoring with warfarin. Since I'm young, I asked about cancer and now I have an MRI scheduled. I've been nauseas lately and i get lightheaded but I'm unsure if thats anxiety, coumadin, or something related to DVT. I have a few questions which stem from too much time looking around on the internet.

    1) Do brain tumor symptoms come and go?

    2) Would my double vision be worse?

    3) How long can a tumor go without being diagnosed?

I'm nervous to get the results from my MRI. I keep thinking about the future and the things I haven't accomplished. Please help calm my anxiety.

  • Worried about brain tumor. I had double vision over a year ago but it has since gone away.?

I'm 21 year old male. About a year ago I had a few bouts with double vision. I haven't had any since. The doctor said it was related to high BP. Now I had DVT in both legs and a PE. I was worried about cancer so they are now going to do an MRI of my head. I'm worried they'll find a tumor. I also suffer from migraines. If the double vision were related to a tumor, wouldn't neurological symptoms be worse by now? I'm extremely nervous and worried. I hate medical issues and procedures. I'm just trying to find peace of mind until my MRI and results come back.

I'll be flying and I am extremely afraid of heights and taking off. I'm afraid I'll have a panic attack or something bad happen mid flight. Any advice to calm me down or help me relax during the flight? I know it's the safest way to travel and I tell myself that but I'm still very very nervous.

  • Brain tumor question having to do with double vision?

I am a 20 year old male and yes, i have posted many times about a brain tumor. I went to my GP and mentioned it to him and he didn't think it was anything to worry about. Today at my eye exam, i mentioned it to the optometrist who decided to do a visual field test at a later date. He checked my eyes and says everything looks fine and that the nerves in the back of my eyes are fine. The double vision i have comes and goes and when i have it, it only lasts 5 minutes. He said if it is persistent or lasts any longer i need a CT scan. Im nervous and a hypo of course so that makes it worse. I always expect the worst. What do you guys think from your own experience or expertise?

  • Brain tumor or pinched nerve?

Lately I have been experienced numbness/tingling mostly on the left side of my body that last for 10 seconds to about a minute. Tonight my fingers on my left hand felt weak I guess you could say and that lasted about 30 seconds or so. I saw the doctor and mentioned the numbness and he says he thinks its a pinched nerve or something along those lines since I'm only 20. Does it sound like a pinched nerve or something worse? I've also been dizzy lately.

  • Does this sound like a brain tumor?

Before anyone says go to a doctor, I am tomorrow but I am anxious and very worried and here to hopefully find some "good news". I had a bout of double vision twice on december 2nd about 3 hours apart. Each one lasted five minutes. Then tonight I had another bout that also lasted 5 minutes. I've been stressed out to the max and I suffer from migraines. I have suffered from many different types of migraines ie. rentinal, sensory, etc. and wasn't sure if this is another type of migraine or if its more of a characteristic of brain tumors. I am a 20 year old male.

  • Does this sound like a brain tumor?

Last weekend I suffered from two bouts of double vision. They both lasted around 5 minutes. Today i woke up with a blind spot in my eye that lasted about a little over an hour but not my vision feels like its blurred in a small spot in the right eye. I suffer from migraines and lately they have been very frequent but i haven't ever had any that cause double vision or long lasting aura. I called the doctor but they said they can't get me in for two weeks and that i should see the eye doctor. I was just at the eye doctor a few weeks ago for a migraine and he did a full exam and said everything was ok. I have also been under stress as it is finals week at school. I am 20 and male if that helps. Id like an ease of mind since i can't get into the doctor. I freak out over things like this.
