Honest Opinion of Odell Beckham Jr.'s 1-handed Catch?

The more I think about the sensational catch he made, I've also concluded this:

Would you consider the catch "skill," or "luck"?.. if his gloves were off, what's the likelihood he still catches that ball?

I don't knock the guy, seeing majority of today's WRs would likely have given up on that play... but, nevertheless, I feel a little more luck was there outside of his extension for the football.

I think its more skill than luck. He has been practicing those types of catches since he was in college. you can youtube his warmup sessions and the catches are almost identical

It's cool, but making the highlight reel every now and then is not the same as a good, consistent, linear game that wins championships.

I'm exactly like that. I have a lot of pizazz in my style of game, but win at .500 if I'm lucky.

    I say it's a combination of both.

  • He does one handed catches in pre-game. Also, there's no such thing as luck.
