When getting mugged by someone and you're armed?

If you don't defend yourself with the gun then you should just start leaving your gun at home because there is no sense in carrying a fire arm for protection if you are not going to use it to protect yourself. Now if you have a glock and he has a machine gun that would be a different story. At that point your should just accept that you have been out armed and give the guy what he wants. Every situation is different and you should act accordingly to protect yourself.

You don't bring a knife to a gun fight. If he only has a knife and you have a gun you shoot him or atleast scare him off. If you don't use your gun then keep it at home cause its an added threat to have a gun and not use it.

BUT..

It's better to have a gun and never need it rather than need a gun and not have one.

Honestly I'd shoot the ***** and then claim self defense...
