1. How did you became vegetarians?

Giving up one animal product after another. Gradually trying new vegetarian recipes etc. My mum went vegetarian shortly after I did (when I was about 14), so her being vegetarian too helped a lot.

No.

3. Did lots of Animal Right's slogan about meat convince you to be vegetarian?

No. Initially, it was about 20 years ago, and the thing which made me decide to go vegetarian was watching a classmate's presentation about pig farming, and also seeing the film Babe, especially the opening sequence of that film. I just saw the way they were housed and thought, that's wrong, I don't want to contribute to that. I stopped eating pig meat soon after, and went vegetarian probably a week or so later, changed back to occasional-pesco-vegetarian for a while, back to vegetarian, and a few years after that, vegan.

Yes.

5. Do you think Lolita the Orca need to be free from Miami SeaAquarium?

I don't know the specific case, but I don't agree with animals being kept in captivity for human entertainment, when it's against the animal's best interests.

6. How do you feel about animal circuses?

Don't like circuses with animals, as there are many cases of physical and psychological abuse documented, as well as the fact that carting the animals around on the road all the time also causes them psychological suffering, and they're not allowed to follow natural instincts.

7. Would you tell Whole Foods Market not to sale rabbit meat?

I wouldn't tell anyone not to sell meat, as that would be pointless. They'll sell if it they have customers. It's better to give the customers reliable information about the suffering involved in meat (not just rabbit meat), so they can make more informed decisions about whether to buy it or not.

8. If there was no vegetarian restaurants and what would you order at non-vegan food places?

I would order a vegan meal at a non-vegan restaurant. I do that relatively frequently, and don't live anywhere near any vegetarian restaurant. I will generally phone or email first to check whether they're willing to cook something vegan, and generally they are if they have some notice.

6: It's fine, as long as they're not being abused, but I get the feeling animal abuse is fairly common at circuses.

7: No. I'd care about rabbit meat as much as any other kind of meat (except for human meat), which is not at all.

I became a pescatarian for a month then adapted a diet of no animal flesh/bones/fat/ect...

no, quite the opposite really.

not really... I was doing research once and I was appalled when I learned about ag-gag laws and what factory farms did to people and animals. I researched companies like Smithfield and Tyson and it disturbed me. Animal Right's sloagans can be skewed; but factory farms are very bad.

I jus searched it up and yes; they shouldn't have even captured her from her mother... poor thing...

6. How do you feel about animal circuses?

I don't really like them because its animal exploitation on a large scale. I know circuses and zoos bring back extinct animals but the animals seem so...idk... solemn.

no, they can sell what they want.

not sure. i'm not really a fan of restuarants; but if i had to go then i'd check out the menu and see what they got.

4. My mother served chicken every other Saturday, and I occasionally had other meat. I was 9 when I became vegetarian.

5. I don't know anything about Lolita the Orca. I'm in general opposed to capturing orcas, but not necessarily in favor of releasing ones in captivity.

8. I keep kosher; I order onion rings and stuff like that on the rare rare rare occasion that I eat out.

3. It wasn't a slogan that convinced me. It was the fact that I know unnecessary killing is wrong and I wasn't applying that to animals. Until somebody told me "Hey, why don't you apply that to animals?"

5. Eventually. She'll either die in there or they'll find a sanctuary for her. Captive Orcas probably can't live in the wild anymore. And I don't know of any human-made body of water big enough for just an Orca. Makes me sad...

6. Circuses make me sad, too. Lions and tigers don't belong in cages or on trucks. Nor to elephants.

1. I'm vegan. I made this choice because humans do not need the meat or milk from another species to live.

3. Partly. A lot of that propaganda is fake, but not all of it. I've been to feed lots and seen how animals are raised and the practice is not humane. (Debeaking, castration without anesthesia, tail docking without anesthesia, horn removal)

5. Yes, but she should be monitored after release. She might have trouble adapting after being held captive for so long.

6. I'm against it. There is no way to keep wild animals in captivity in a humane manner. Sorry, but I do not approve of animals like lions being caged up most of the day, and elephants being chained in one place. And those tricks they perform are neither natural not beautiful, nor entertaining.

7. I would want them to stop selling all flesh,, rabbit, as well as cow, pig, turkey, and chicken.

8. I do not eat out, but maybe a salad or pasta?
