The solid lies between planes...?

The solid lies between the planes perpendicular to the x-axis at x = -9 and x = 9. The cross-sections perpendicular to the axis on the interval -9 \le x \le 9 are squares whose bases run from the semicircle y = -\sqrt{81 - x^2} to the semicircle y = \sqrt{81 - x^2}.

    volume = area thickness concept

    area is [ 2y]² = 4 y² where x² + y² = 81 ; thickness is [ dx ] , x in [ -9 , 9 ]..
