How do I clip my toenails?

Do I need to take painkillers first so that it doesn't hurt?  My mom says I don't have nerves in toenails but I'm pretty sure she is full of bulls*** and is just waiting to hear me scream so she can laugh at me.

clipping toenails don't hurt at all it's like clipping fingernails! Unless you have an ingrown toenail youre trying to get out (those hurt like hell and you should know if you have one or not!) but other than that clipping toenails are just as harmless as clipping fingernails

Clipping your toenails is the same thing as clipping your fingernails... It does not hurt at all unless you cut too close to your skin. You don't have nerves in your toenails, just make sure to not trim them too short.

You don't need pain killers to cut your toenails. As long as you don't cut too close to your skin you'll be fine.
