Fellow believers, why are you celebrating?

There were people who opposed the abolition of slavery, emancipation for women, the banning of discrimination of women, the attempts to eradicate racism and now the need to eradicate homophobia!

Taking one sin to indulge in intolerance, hatred, bigotry, homophobia and persecution will never be acceptable in the eyes of God!

Christian leaders from around the world have clearly stated their opposition to the "victimization or diminishment" of gays and lesbians, saying demonizing and persecuting them was "totally against Christian charity and basic principles of pastoral care".

"We say that no one should have to live in fear because of the bigotry of others."

The Mormons poured millions into forcing through prop 8 in CA: to ban gay marriage. In August 2010 the court held that to be unconstitutional. On 15 June 2011 the San Francisco court upheld that decision because it violates the constitutional rights of citizens. On 7 February 2012 the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals struck the California law again finding that the California state constitution banning same-sex marriage violated principles of due process and equal protection under the law.

The court found that the ban violated equality laws to target a minority group and withdraw a right that it possessed, without a legitimate reason for doing so. Proposition 8 serves no purpose, and has no effect, other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California. The constitution simply does not allow for laws of this sort.

The Supreme Court upheld the early court decision and has now stated that gay marriage is legal in ALL STATES! Thus gay marriage is legal and anyone who shows intolerance, hatred, bigotry, homophobia and persecution towards them faces the CRIMINAL LAW and the charges are rated as HATE CRIME with severe sentences!

Sadly Christianity is being destroyed and criminalized by people who use the bible as their excuse for totally unchristian behaviour.

The loving god works in mysterious ways.

Come the final judgement perhaps you will understand that using the bible as an excuse is blasphemy!

I am lamenting. Probably even this expression would be considered as one of 'lgbt hater'.. I am so sad for them, and furious at those who're leading young American people's soul to damnation.

I tremble by imagining the punishment they receive after the Great Judgment for leading His beloved humans astray. I think above verse means 'before they accumulate any more counts of guilty charges, it'd be better their life end so their punishment would not get any worse.'..this may not be a correct interpretation, but at least I sense deeper anger of God in this verse... In fact, God loves just too much to kill His own Son. In my opinion, all of the leading promoters of lgbt have been willingly working for the enemy-Satan as his mouthpiece, deceiving naive people to falsely believe they should 'trust their feelings' about who-regardless of gender- they 'feel attracted to'.

I know God gives different talents to each individual and some are obviously given talent to teach. God doesn't put His string attached when He gives them... They are free to teach anything to other humans, but if they know that lgbt is against God's will, but still teach false (in His mind) ideas and lead people be astray, God should have a right to be angry at them.

In my view, now is the time to lament, not to celebrate, for sure, at the same time, to repent of our insufficient 'work for the Kingdom'..

There are some who consider these "developments" to be signs of the end of the world coming ever so much sooner than expected. So, they are celebrating because they feel that Christ's return is very soon.

You are not addressing "fellow Christians" when you are addressing people who purposefully continue to sin as in the sin of homosexuality . It really has nothing to do with when, how and if we call someone Christian or if they call themselves Christian. What is a Christian....A Christian is someone who tries to live as Christ did or one who strives to be like Christ. If they and we are not attempting that then we should not call ourselves Christian.

Maybe people who aren't christian really don't care to have their lives governed by your book.

I'm not celebrating but i'm not protesting it either.I'm staying out of it.
