How can I remove cat urine smell from carpet? My kitty had kidney disease before he died and couldn't control himself!?

there are carpet cleaning companies that specialize in pet urine. this would be the most effective way to get rid of the smell. they can be expensive though. when i do my own pet urine cleaning i use a product called "nature's miracle". i have found it to be VERY effective if you know where each pee spot is. so sorry for your loss, but the good news is, with kidney failure the urine is very dilute. almost water. so chances are your carpets are salvageable.

They have urine remover you can buy a petco or Walmart. Or you could use a wet vacuum if you have one. That's what I usually use. But if not, I recommend looking at Walmart or Petco to remove the urine. If you have a wet vacuum and urine remover I recommended using both to get it out. I'm sorry about your kitty dying as well :(
