...does the Suicide Squad consist of the good guys or the bad guys? I really couldn't tell from the trailer or from photos & I'm not all that 'up' on comics so I don't really know their backstories. Thanx for any & all answers, comments, thoughts & opinions!!!

These are the villains of DC comics. They are released so they can do some good and stop crime. Although they are antiheroes of the DC franchise, we get some backstory and also a view of the people that will eventually face off with the justice league.

They're villains but they are the protagonists of the movie. So antiheros basically.
