Why do you think cheating is so bad?

Now let's be realistic here, I don't believe much in permanent relationships and a "love of your life" kind of stuff because realistically people do grow out of one another, it's impossible to actually feel the same way you did, at the beginning, and at the end, or a while after! It's more than just "love", but instead connected minds whom should grow togther, be equal in knowledge and wisdom or a partner slightly more knowledgable! For the majority of people who say they're in love don't even love them selves, they don't understand the meaning, so do they actually love that person or just really care?!

Now let's take it back ages ago when having more than one partner was normal and okay until religion became a big thing

Is it instead selfish of a person to want a person only to himself, to use the excuse of being heartbroken, if you ask me that selfish person just has really bad self esteem issues

Now speaking for my self, I've been cheated on, it hurt yeah, it didn't **** up my life for i know I can live alone! I've cheated on and and at first he was broken and well he's a live and well today, I didn't ruin his life! Sex is just sex, so why is it so bad to cheat which the real thing one should be focused on is, as long as you have a persons mind Locked on yours, eachothers souls match well, sex shouldn't be enough

So what are your opinions on cheating?! Besides the "ItS wrong" and the "it's a sin" give me facts and details to back your opinion up! Just curious!

First off, if you've been cheated on; why would YOU in the right mind cheat? If you know how it feels, why put that pain on someone else?

It's called having empathy. I know many humans don't have it, but honestly; let's be real here, cheating is a horrible thing to do.

Not only is it selfish, but it's actually pretty cruel thing to do. Yeah sex is just sex, but you don't go off sleeping with a random person when you're in a relationship. That's what that person is there for - have sex with them, or break it off if you don't love them. Simple. Don't hurt that's person's feelings and trust.

It's okay to have more than one partner. Only if your partners AGREE, if they're not polyamorous then why the fûck would they not care?

Sex is sex. But it also a symbol of love. It doesn't always mean love, but it can show how much you do love a person.

There's no need to 'cheat'.  Cheating is lying and betrayal of trust. If you want lots of partners, don't commit to one. If you are in a committed relationship, tell your partner you want out. Play fair, don't cheat.

Sex isn't bad.  Lying and violating trust is bad.

In a relationship, you want to trust and respect your partner.  When they violate your trust like that, it puts a strain on the relationship.

I'm married, but in an open relationship.  I'm allowed to see other women, but I'm not allowed to lie about it.  It's all about the trust.
