Moding gta v getting banned?
I'm soon going to be moding gta 5 and I already have the mod downloaded to usb I just have to download the mod to my profile on Xbox. But what are the consiquenses of moding online. I won't give any money to random people I will just use the modes to give me some money to me but not a lot. How can I get banned and how can I avoid a bann? Does rockstar see my account and check if o mod or do reports from little kids get sent to rockstar and they bann me from the reports.

if you using mods that give an fair advantage over other players then yes they could ban you as rock stair look at the code of there person used to enter the server and then see the mod. if something that just still then they won't ban you, all mods have risks them self as there could have game braking viruses that could damage the game or harm you xbox.

you cant mod gta online with usb you need a RGH/Jtagged console to mod online. you can only mod singleplayer campaign with usb and i doubt you will be banned for this but its not 100% safe

Rockstar does not give out their methods of monitoring for modders, as that would make it easier for people to navigate around them. Anytime you mod, you risk having your account banned, because in the terms of service you agreed not to mod. (Even if you didn't read the TOS.) The safest thing to do is not mod at all.
Source(s): Also if you're modifying your Xbox profile (ie gamertag account), Microsoft could ban your account or even your console itself.
