Is the MacBook 12inch worth it tax free weekend here in MA?

I am asking because I have an old MacBook and I really like mac notebooks as I have better luck than with PC. I am looking to upgrade so I was wondering if its worth it to do so?

Update:

I checked out the pro and as much as I want the pro if I want more space in my laptop I have to pay more. The only reason why the new pro is the same price as the MacBook is because the pro starts at 128GB which is what I phone 6 has. they said I can get 256GB for $1299 before apple care. Also I can't afford the pro as much as I want it and it seems so heavy in the store.

    I have been with MAC since 2008 and with the PRO so if you can stick to the mac book Pro just slightly above the mac book in Price
