Would it make more sense to get a MacBook 256GB or a 512GB?
I am only asking because I do surf the net and I like to use world and excel, and also photo booth and respond to text messages but that's about it. I have the last MacBook that was made which I have had for 5yrs and I think I am due for an upgrade. Would really like responses from people who actually have a MacBook as well or the new MacBook.
Well I want to make sure that if I do decide to do more with it that I have the space to do so.

I would go with a 256GB, if that's all you're doing. Though it wouldn't be a bad idea to back up with a cloud storage service.

I would pick the 256 or the lowest one because you could always just replace the hard drive with more gigs than 500 for cheaper than just buying a 500 gig macbook and it is really easy to install a new hard drive on your macbook. Theres a bunch of youtube videos that are easey to follow. Ive had a 256 gb mac and im replaceing the hard drive with a tb drive. Ut cost like $150 more for a macbook 500 gb and a hard drive thats 1 tb is only 100 plus 10 dollars for the specail screwdriver
