Why do so many people worldwide dislike America? What is America doing wrong?

America has almost no reliable friends in the world, but lots of enemies. Most of Asia, Africa, South America, and half of Europe dislike America. No other nation is so universally disliked. Millions of Muslims want to kill everyone in America, but billions of people simply find America to be annoying and tiresome.

You make a statement that does not relect the World or the United States, or the people who are Americans. In fact, you are part of the problem known as Progressive Liberalism, and that is what is wrong with America. So prove that wrong, and to hell with Barrack Hussein Obama.

Think about how little the average American knows about America. Now divide that by 100. You're left with what the average foreigner knows about America.

Obama has brought back some popularity points, but yo have to realize, our last President was a war criminal. Not much to like there. Horrifying what Republicans have done to this country over many years. Horrifying.

The Muslims hate America because the Imams tell them to hate. The Imams tell them to hate America so they don't have to explain WHERE those TRILLIONS of the world's petro-dollars are located. It would be awfully embarrassing if this truth got out.

Just because some of the population complains about Americans in a coffee shop doesn't mean they are not allies. Europe is our NATO ally and they do not want to end that.

So you want to live in Cuba or Venezuela I take it? Or some soft communist country like Sweden or Scandinavia? When everyone hates American exceptionalism I take that as a badge of honor and proud to be an American.

They have done all the things other countries did when in a position of power and remain a world superpower. Some people will always grow to become jealous/hateful of those who have more than them.

This widespread dislike (and distrust) of the United States was far more prominent all during the lawlessness of the Bush/Cheney administration, starting with the ILLEGAL 2003 invasion of a sleeping Iraq---a nation that had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11 and that had never once attacked the U.S. Then came the Bush/Cheney-ordered TORTURE of Muslim detainees, most of whom had committed no crimes...and this inhumane TORTURE was done in violation of international law and the Geneva Convention. Even our allies turned negative because of this war crime committed by the lawless Bush/Cheney administration. The GOP's economy-killing always-fail policies wreaked HAVOC here at home with the deregulation-caused housing and credit markets' collapse, followed by the GOP-deregulated FINANCIAL SYSTEM MELTDOWN nearly took the U.S. over a cliff into long-term DEPRESSION, but also BANKRUPTED most of Europe---and the U.S. lost respect.

President Obama came to power with a new message for the world, as outlined in his powerfully nuanced speech before a huge Muslim audience in Cairo, Egypt in early 2009: (a) "My first job as President of the United States is to PROTECT the American people" (a warning to any would-be attackers); (b) "The United States is NOT at war with Islam" (said against the backdrop of two wars in Muslim nations, one of those an ILLEGAL one); and (c) "The United States will extend its hand in FRIENDSHIP to any nation willing to UNCLENCH its fists." If you review the entire speech, you will perceive an intricately interwoven address of all problems with a proposed solution---a foundation for changes that would lead towards peace. Example: Israel was chastised for behaving badly---a total rarity for any American President, and then Palestinians were told that firing rockets into Israel at night while children were sleeping was harming innocents, and he then quoted from the Muslims' Qu'ran to give a reason why this should not be done: "To harm an innocent is to harm the world." This exquisite speech was one of the reasons why President Obama, with his healing messages and clearly stated goals for America, was chosen by the Nobel Prize Committee---as then-French President Sarkozy put it, "Welcome back, America!" Our international image slowly, but steadily has been rising ever since, in part because President Obama treats other leaders with dignity and respect, firm in resolve when it comes to protecting Americans, but also FAIR and trust-building in his interactions with these leaders. He is respected internationally---and this helps America be seen with respect as well.

It's failed foreign policy from the last 40 years would be a excellent starting point

President Obama has managed to piss off every single ally we had when he took office. The left either genuinely doesn't see it or genuinely doesn't care. I think it's a little of both.
