Prescription For Buspirone (Buspar)?

Update:

I just received a prescription for the aforementioned medication. The info packet says to take it twice daily and consistently (meaning with-or without food) I'm claiming idiocy on this one. I know taking medication without food/drink might intensify the effect, but will it really matter if I take it and eat/not eat?

Yahoo answers misdirected your question, ask it in Science and Mathematics under Medical.

edit for update: the directions on the prescription could have been written wrong at the pharmacy. I have made a vain attempt to read the doctor's handwriting, poor penmanship doctors have at best. If you are in doubt take the bottle of pills back to the pharmacy to make sure.

I tried to re-direct it to "Health" but once asked, it can't be repeated. I'm not sure I really clarified the question either. It says take with food OR take without. When taking, keep the regiment. ie: don't take with breakfast (food) and at 5:00 pm. with nothing.

Yes it matters how you take it. If they say to take it with or without food they have a reason. Just take it how it says to.
