Read what one of my customer wrote to me when he asked about the "Life time reset" and I asnwered him that I have to check with the dealer for the procedure:

" Two weeks after visiting your establisment. My TPMS light is on. When I brought it to the dealer nearby my friend's house for a TPMS reset , I asked them about the lifetime average. They said they'd check, and I kind of forgot about it.

But after I had driven home I discovered I had a new (and fairly rapidly changing) average, so the dealer does have a way. Just want to let you know. Sincerely yours"

Check with your Chevy dealer next time when you have a chance. I will hook up the scanner and see if I can find out on the next one rolling in. On Monday I'll call the dealer myself to find out.

The Volt is 2013 model. Look at the picture I took when the car was in for oil change. We took pictures BEFORE and AFTER on all works done at our shops. Each technician is provide with a digital camera, they sign it out in the begin of the shift and return when the shift ended.

It cannot be reset. Total lifetime is for the life of the vehicle, not the current owner.
