Is the "unnatural" good or bad?

Some say homosexuality is "unnatural" because "natural" sex results in babies.

Sex results in babies.

What about when a baby happens.... without sex? Is THAT "unnatural"?

And resurrection - THAT is natural?

Walking on water - THAT is natural?

Water turning into wine - THAT is natural?

A guy living inside a whale - THAT is natural?

Okay, okay. Everyone agrees that last one is complete fabrication. But still.

Medicine is unnatural and that is good.

Bombs are unnatural and they are bad

    It can mean either.

There is no unnatural; everything that exists is natural. The irony of the "unnatural" is that it's supposedly a standard of what's natural that was created by a supernatural being; which is where the dichotomy you mention comes from- the idea that there's a category of things and events that can be classified as supernatural.

Of course, it's nothing but an idea.

I have a friend who at 25 lives with his girlfriend of 6 years. They are in fact buying a home together. They have no children, I will have to sort them out as clearly their sex is not natural as it has not created any babies.

Look none of this really matters. If someone wants to think my life is unnatural then so be it, think as he likes, just keep those views in his bedroom and I will do my thing in my bedroom and everyone will get along.

Why anyone who is straight bothers to sit around and chew the fat over what I do in my bedroom, that is simply stupid.

Good point, my friend! I remember one of the first episode of the series Ally McBeal, a person got fired because he saw unicorns. Ally and her companion attorneys then tried to help him but the trial took a long time and Christmas holidays was close. Then a defending attorney said: "Let's condemn a man who sees unicorns and get home to celebrate a virgin birth!" ... they won the case! ;-)

Regarding homosexuality, if "normal" is intended as 51 or more percent, then few of us are "normal!" We all have sexual preferences! ;-)

Natural as in 'not forced', but every day gay people are trying to measure up, and force themselves into a heterosexual-esque life with the marriage, kids and all. See, gay people mimic straight people, but its not natural for them. The whole thing is unnatural and their fuses are mixed up. Evolution optimised for heterosexuality so there are bound to be glitches in this byproduct.

Obviously homosexuality is natural, for homosexuals. As far as things that aren't natural go, it isn't natural for humans to live in a house, but i like it.

we also no longer live by our traditions.

Tradition is marriage being between a man and a woman - in some cases several women.

Tradition also includes, public death fighting, witch burning and slavery.

    that's a really good point
