George Washington Wrote This:
Oh, eternal and everlasting God, direct my thoughts, words and work. Wash away my sins in the immaculate blood of the Lamb and purge my heart by Thy Holy Spirit. Daily, frame me more and more in the likeness of Thy son, Jesus Christ, that living in Thy fear, and dying in Thy favor, I may in thy appointed time obtain the resurrection of the justified unto eternal life. Bless, O Lord, the whole race of mankind and let the world be filled with the knowledge of Thee and Thy son, Jesus Christ.

It depends on various other factors. I feel that you should not jump into any such hasty or wrong conclusions.
Unless you have done some research type of work, you should not form a firm opinion about it. Only when there is a Christian majority you can consider it a Christian nation.
In general, the definition should be that a Christian Nation has Christianity as it official national faith, in America I think official national faith is prohibited by each the Treaty Tripoli and the Constitution. Verify.

It really depends on what you mean. The founders took great pains to avoid bringing the religious conflicts of Europe to America. To do this, they founded a secular government with only a few non-specific religious references in the founding documents. But the vast majority of Americans are and always were Christians, so if the opinions of the population are all that matter, then I guess it could be considered a Christian nation, but that term connotes having a religions government, which we do not.

No. It began as Native American tribal nation with tribal religions. The land was stolen from them primarily for economic reasons. Various Christian religious groups which were persecuted in their home countries came here for religious freedom. The concept of religious freedom for all, except of course for Catholics, atheists, muslims and Jews and other groups frowned upon by the majority, took firm root. When the United States was formed certainly Christian principles were a part of its formative ideas. The concept of freedom of religion was a central part of this, but that was as a governmental stance. Even today religious tolerance is often notably absent from some religious leaders, especially towards Catholics, Jews and Muslims. This has been seen by hate posts of the various "I am a pastor" participants on this site. But, just as we are making progress in the elimination of racial prejudice so too are we making progress in the elimination of religious prejudice. And by and large it is Christianity which is forcing this progress.
Update on your comments about Jefferson. Jefferson was a Deist. He did not believe in God's direct concern for man. Although he was not a Christian he had deep respect for the teachings of Christ and was influenced by them. This is seen by the fact that he rewrote the Bible eliminating from it anything of the miraculous. The work is titled "The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth".

No, it most certainly was not. Alexander Hamilton is the one who tried to establish the Christian Constitutional Society as a mean trick to get the stupid religious people to support their own serfdom in the name of Jesus. It was to be started by the wealthy who would give to charity. They would convince the Xians to support those he would be making poor by his policies as we became immersed in the feudalism that he and Washington loved so much

Nope. North America was first colonized about 10,000 years before Christ was even idealized.

No it was founded by pegans with many different religions who thought it would be fair to keep religion out of governing people.

In true reality not the science-fiction hogwash delusion athiests go by. Schools were created for the sole purpose of teaching children how to read their Holy Bible. Now schools teach children how to be pin-headed imbeciles as the examples the athiests show the world.

Nope, quite the opposite really.
