Is Data administrator a good or a profitable career in India?

I have currently doing my BSC(CS) and i want i am good in programming but not the brightest also i am very good in Managing and stuff so i thought that being data admin will the best best for me as it usually deals with database structure and oracle DBMS. So what should i do to get a job in this field after my BSC(CS) should i do MCA or some other Post-graduation and is this even a growing and profitable field in india and also what is the starting salary in India please i really need info on this. I would like to talk over email or other social sites if you think conversation will help me more.

I want to go in a IT field so please don't suggest me MBA and other Non-IT related field.

    In terms of pay, yes it is. Data Administrators make between Rs 73,533 - Rs 734,036 a year.

    Get experience as a supervisor. then do MBA. Then there are good chances of promotion etc.
