How old do you need to be to work at Starbucks UK?
Okay, so I am 14 years and 2 months old. I want to get a job to start becoming less dependant on my parents for money and saving for university. I know the law states nobody under 16 can work full-time, however I am interested in a part time job. I looked on the Starbucks UK site and couldn't find any specific details, however the application form has a box for under 16 yr olds, as well as different time slots.
So does anyone know if I'll be able to apply for a job?

There is no law against anyone applying for any job. The problem is that employers cannot be bothered with all the legal red tape involved with hiring 14 year olds. When thousands of 16s and over are looking for jobs they don't need the hassle of employing 14 year olds.
