How to get back normal skin colour?
I'm 14 and mixed race (white- bangladeshi). My body is a light brown tanned colour, however my face is a lot paler when compared. When I was younger it wasn't like this. It's almost patchy, with my forehead being slightly darker than the rest of my face. I was wondering what I could do to try and get it back to it's normal colour
3 AnswersOther - Skin & Body5 years agoHow to make hair grow darker naturally?
I m mixed race (Bangladeshi- White British) and have dark brown hair. When I was little my hair was black, but as I ve got older it has got lighter. It s now more noticeably brown than black. All of my other body hair black and my sister has black hair too (although it s beginning to turn brown). My other sister has brown hair, but she was born with it and it has other colours mixed in. Is there something I could do to make my hair grow darker again?
3 AnswersHair5 years agoHow to make my blue hair dye more noticeable?
So yesterday I dyed my hair for the first time. I had dark brown-black hair before and I dyed it with XXL Live Cosmic Blue. That dye is for dark hair colours and supposed to make it a deep blue/ black. However, my hair is more black than blue now. It s got a tint of blue, however it s not noticeable at first glance. Did I do something wrong? Is it normal for it to be dark at first?
1 AnswerHair5 years agoHow to deal with over excitability?
I get really excited about stuff really easily. At times I talk really fast and can be really loud, but I don't realise that I'm doing it until someone tells me to turn it down a notch. I am really enthusiastic and try to be positive about stuff, but a lot of people find me annoying because of this. I have random bursts of energy, so I occasionlly skip or jump to places (not helping on the popularity or people's image of me). My friend said I sometimes over react and feel too deeply about stuff, which made me feel bad. I really try hard to do the best at everything I do, but people have called me a teacher's pet for being enthusiastic and excited in class. I've always been like this. Is there something wrong with me? Is there something I can do to get it under control?

2 AnswersMathematics5 years agoDoes saying women have been sexualized and be allowed to show their underwear and asking how is it unprofessional count as femnazisism?
Basically my friends and I were having a conversation and they started ranting about how girls should be allowed to roll up their school skirts and that society was sexualising 11-16 yr olds and their underwear. I disagreed and I pointed out they don't let us do it because it's unprofessional. They started saying yeah, but why is unprofessional? Because it was sexualized. We then had a massive debate (argument). I don't believe in sexualising women, but I do believe that all genders should try and looks smart, whether in an office or a uniform, because it's work or you're representing something. I don't think it's professional to show your underwear, regardless of gender. I stood by this and I kept repeating what I said everytime they said, 'but why?'. In the end, there were some ugly accusations (are you supporting the sexualisation of teenagers?!) and I'm just wondering, does this count as femnazism?
3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture6 years agoDo I take the plastic out of my CCF beret or what?
I need to mould my beret and I'm really confused. Some things have been saying take out the lining, others say just take out the plastic. My parents said just leave it. Can anyone tell me what the hell I should do?!
1 AnswerMilitary6 years agoHow old do you need to be to work at Starbucks UK?
Okay, so I am 14 years and 2 months old. I want to get a job to start becoming less dependant on my parents for money and saving for university. I know the law states nobody under 16 can work full-time, however I am interested in a part time job. I looked on the Starbucks UK site and couldn't find any specific details, however the application form has a box for under 16 yr olds, as well as different time slots.
So does anyone know if I'll be able to apply for a job?
Thanks for reading and answering (hopefully)!
2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment6 years agoI'm thinking about boarding school for sixth form, any advice?
I am going into year 10 in September and I have started to think about what I want to do after my GCSE's. I have decided I want to pursue a career in either science or medicine, but I'm not sure how well I could achieve this in my current school. Most of the girls at my school don't care about the classes, don't want to learn and find it hilarious I want to actually work (resulting in bullying). A majority of the teachers and the facilities are good, however due to large and disruptive classes, it takes a long time to get stuff done and if you don't understand something in class you're screwed. My school is also more focused on sports and arts. I was thinking about looking into boarding school for sixth form, as they have smaller classes and a round the clock educational environment. However, I understand this is incredibly expensive, but after researching I have found I qualify for a bursary. So, is it worth talking to my parents about boarding school for my A-levels?
1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education6 years agoDoes anyone know any shops in England which sell nylon hair for dolls, or something similar?
This summer I want to give one of my old My Little Pony s a new mane and tail, as the current ones are straggly and thin. I read that I should use nylon, Saran or a similar thread for this. However, I have no idea of any store which would sell this. I know lots of shops online sell it, however, I m 13. Any suggestions?
1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts6 years agoHelp, my eyeliner won t come off?!?!?!?
So as part of a costume for a school play I had to wear blue eyeliner, which looked awesome. The make up people put it on and gave me flick-tips. The show ended and I tried to wipe it off with a make-up wipe. The actual eyeliner came off, but it left a blue stain. I ve tried baby lotion, make-up wipes and just plain water on a flannel, but it s not coming off! My mum made me stop because the skin around my eyes has become irritated. But unless I get it off I will have to go to school with faded blue eyeliner and flick-tips!!! HELP!!!
5 AnswersMakeup6 years agoI've lost my self-control... How do I regain it?
Normally I've had good control over my temper but over the past year it's slipped. I've never normally been allowed to get angry, or take out my anger. Normally I just bottle it. But recently I've begun losing my temper over small things. How can I regain my control?
4 AnswersMental Health6 years agoToo many people and not enough tickets? HELP!!?
Tomorrow for my birthday I am planning to go to the cinema with my friends. However, one wasn't sure she could make it (she said she was free but not free). So we presumed she wasn't coming. Now she can come, but we're a ticket short. Six of us are going, and my mum is giving us a lift, as that's the max. our car can take. One of my friends offered to give up my ticket, but this would mix stuff up, as she has food issues which my mum has already prepared for. My mum has done a lot to make this go right, as no one has actually gone to the cinema with me on my birthday, but there are too many people! Also, if she does give up her ticket, I don't want my other friend to think we're asking her because we have a spare ticket! What do I do?
3 AnswersFriends6 years agoIs what my mum said to me outdated and inappropriate for this era?
So earlier my mother was complaining about DIY. She told me if I get married I should marry someone with DIY skills.I told I could just do it myself. She said yes, but I would be too busy cooking, cleaning, gardening and raising kids to do it. Personally, I don't think that's right for this century; I'm not sure I want to get married and have kids. Ideas of family are changing; there are more mums being the main providers and stay-at-home dads. Plus, the roles in the house are shifting. Everyone who lives in a house should help with it, regardless of gender. It's not just the females role. So what do you think?
4 AnswersOther - Society & Culture6 years agoCan I be left home alone for a day?
I am 13 (almost 14) and live in the UK. I am responsible for my age. I am going to my friends house for a sleepover, but the next day my dad's doing a run and we need to pick him up. But it's over 60 miles away. I would need to leave my friend's house really early so we can get there on time. However, it would be inconvenient for everyone. So I was wondering whether I could be left home alone for the day. Not even the whole day, possibly just the afternoon. Is that legally possible?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoAnnoying, catchy songs?
I'm trying to make a playlist of the most annoying songs possible. Preferably from different countries. Like, the ones they always play at kids parties. I've got what does the fox say, the caramel dance, numa numa and have now hit a dead end. Help?

3 AnswersOther - Computers6 years agoHow to cut part of a TV episode?
I'm doing a (fun) presentation at school and there is a scene from one episode from a show I watch that would be perfect for it. Does anyone know if and how I could take that part from the episode and put it into Windows media player or something similar? Thank you!
1 AnswerOther - Computers6 years agoIs it illegal to use Youtube-mp3 converter?
I was trying to get a song, but I couldn't find it on itunes, googleplay or Spotify. Basically I used it as a last resort 'cause I could only find remixes and I wanted the original. I just wanted it for personal listening. Can I get arrested, fined, etc.? I didn't mean to do anything wrong and be disrespectful to the artists! I just couldn't find the original of the song anywhere!!
4 AnswersYouTube6 years agoHow can I convince my parents to let me take music lessons?
I would really like to learn how to play the guitar. They have lessons at my school, but I don't think my parents will let me. I used to have saxophone lessons, but I took them because my parents wanted me to take a 'different' instrument. My quit because I really didn't like it, and I felt really guilty about it. My parents won't let me take other instrument lessons because they think I'm just going to quit them, but that's not the case. Any advice?
