books reading?

Hello bookers. I decided to try reading books about 6 month ago and I fell in love with it. I read different categories but avoid fiction books. So my question is this....is it OK to read more books at the same time....like lets say a biography, a self help book and history or humor....or w/e...

Or is it best to read 1 book until finished?

Good Heavens, I used to have 5 books going at one time. I still may read 2 or 3 at a time. Read what you like, as many as you like! There are no rules to reading books.

It really depends on you personally. I can't read two books at once as later on I'll confuse them together when explaining them to others. But some people can read ten books at once. I suggest you test it, and if you can then go with it, but if you find it difficult then you will know for next time. I hope my insight has helped! --- A fellow Bibliophile

You can read as many at a time that you feel happy with, i think 2 at once is fine,i usually have a biography and a fiction book on the go at the same time.

Consider need the same way you would consider a candle. If the candle is using solid then you'll force past obstacles to be able to get what you want. If the candle is not using at all, then you won't. Wish is just a using fireplace. Not just do you have to own it, but also you have to help keep throwing wood about it to help keep it burning.

This manual is really as simple as it gets and with it you'll manage to start thinking in what' possible very fast.

There are no rules. Do as you like, especially with non fiction. Sometimes things need to settle and concentrating on a different topic can help a lot.

With fiction I prefer reading a book from beginning to end because of the flow of the story.

    But no rules here.

I find it best to limit myself to two, and usually work on one at a time.

Any more than 2 and I wind up starting far more books than I finish.

I generally have 4 books on the go at once, but I doubt there are laws about this. Why are you asking permission?
