The last world power was America allied with England at the end of WWI.
There will be no more world dominating powers.
ALL earthly governments will be destroyed by God and the kingdom of heaven will take their place. Very soon now.

Concerning Daniel's prophesies the head of gold of the great Image was Nebuchadnezzar's Babylonian Kingdom , the breast of silver was Cyrus' Media-Persian Empire , the belly of brass was Alexander's Macedonian Empire , the legs of iron was the Roman Empire , and the feet of iron mixed in clay was the Anti-Christ's ( King Juan Carlos of Spain , who was picked by the Fascist Dictator , Franco ) 10 EU nations between 1981-1986 AD , and is still functioning today .
