I like Bernie,I think he's awesome! But I doubt the Dems will give him the nomination over Hillary. I'd be happy with either one winning the Presidency in 2016! They are both good. Bernie is more extreme than Hillary and he seems well liked so far that he could keep impressing and possibly winning debates. Although, most say Hillary won, not Bernie. Despite his popularity it may not be enough to get him the nomination. Hope that helps? Good luck

People said the same thing about Obama (I.e. "he can't win"). We'll see. I think Hillary put on a strong show at the debate last night, and she really needed it. Sanders did well, but he appealed to his existing base. His performance likely won't attract new voters.

For future debates Sanders needs to address three things:

    1) Gun control. Sanders voted against the Brady Bill five times and Clinton hammered him over it.

    2) Introduce himself to new voters by addressing new campaign topics.

    3) Don't get flustered.

Bernie didn't win. At best he held his own. I think the most important question of the night came when Cooper asked Sanders if a socialist can be elected president in the US. I don't think he can. For that reason Clinton looked a lot more electable.

Yes, I think Sanders is Hillary's biggest challenge at the moment. When she wins the Democratic nominee for president, he might become one of her biggest allies, too.

  • How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.
  • That's exactly why the DNC cut the debates to 4 from 25. Fear that democrats might see Hillary for who she really is: another sock puppet of Wall Street.

No, I think Sanders is a little too far to the left for the entire country.

He is her only challenge, but he can only win if the public is open to listening to his entire plan and doesn't write him off for being socialist.

Sadly, he hasn't got a snowball's chance in hell. The American people aren't ready for someone like him.

I hope Bernie gets the nomination. He has my vote.

They both nailed their case last evening.
