Can you reuse disposable plastic glasses?
I'm running a comedy show every week, where we serve drinks in clear plastic half pint disposable glasses. At the end we collect all the glasses and throw them away, and buy new ones for next week.
It seems like a bit of a waste, of both materials and money.
Is it safe to wash these glasses, and then reuse them a couple of times?
Once they are thoroughly washed, are they safe to reuse?

At home, probably.
In a commercial premises serving drinks to member of the public - no, unless you want to lose your licence and food hygiene certificates. Disposable glasses can't be washed at a high enough temperature to be sterilised after use.

we rewash those disposable glasses a lot around here. RINSE THEM IN CLOROX WATER THEN ALLOW TO AIR DRY AND STACK IN PLASTIC SLEEVE SUCH AS A SANITIZED BREAD WRAPPER!
1 CUP CLOROX TO 2 GALLONS WATER!
