Would you think this is a good reason to boycott a pub [bar]?
A customer was being affectionate towards the Landlord's daughter. The daughter's boyfriend was in the flat above the pub and watching on CCTV. Daughter's boyfriend interprets the behaviour as flirtatious (some have suggested that this was a misunderstanding) and punches customer.
Do people agree that it is always unacceptable for a family member of the owner to punch customers on the premises, and would you refuse to go to the pub again even though you were not the person involved?

The boyfriend has committed a crime - want that clarifying? Criminal - the pub landlord should lose his licence if the boyfriend is not reported.
Criminal battery on a customer is never acceptable.
