That's the one thing I don't understand about it, actually. I can get all of the peripheral reasons that were explained, but there just seems like there should be a little more leeway for special circumstances.

There are times (when same-sex couples are not involved) where a family may be hostile toward the church, or its teachings, but the child/youth can make it through and shows great inner strength in doing so. I remember one particular story of a boy who was around eight years old when he joined and stayed faithful throughout, despite his parents wishes. We can use more youth like that, but this new policy seems to complicate the issue.

At the same time, there have been a lot more situations where someone will join the church as a youth but then fall away into darkness because they did not have the moral or family support needed to make it through. So, from that aspect, it makes more sense.

It just seems like there should be a way to make an exception for the special cases. I think the guidelines could stand to be revised just a little bit. Clarified, if you will. Rather than making a blanket case for all, add a few guidelines for varying situations. The well being of the children is the ultimate goal, but there could be more ways of doing that.

I assume you refer to the kids of homosexual couples?

Many of them do NOT support it actually. My Mormon roommates don't. I don't(though I'm not really Mormon anymore since I don't believe)

I laugh in your face your so deceived by yourself and Satan you can't Evan reason!

Repent learn gods word! Obey and submit to Jesus!

No church can deny you gods holy spirt the right to repent baptism or obeisance to Jesus Christ!

Only a satanic blinded mind could conceive that a church can do this! If you want the holy spirit you must repent and be holy!

Then you can get baptised in any body of water and confess with your mouth that you have repented and choose to follow Jesus.

The church has every right to refuse you service its their building! They pay for it!

They choose who they want as members you can't force them to obey your whim!

    Nor should you try!

Repent your own self agree to obey Jesus and go jump in the water and proclaim Jesus is my lord I repent of my sins!

And you aren't mad that they are being denied santa clause? At least Santa doctrines yield true gifts under the tree.
