How come Syrians Flee their homeland?

But the U.S and Canada would likewise never do the same thing. If we had terrorist groups like ISIS we would either join them or rally to eliminate them, not run to another country for refuge.

This isn't a jab at Syrians, it just seems like we value our land and freedom over here more than our lives?

    Endless War

There are 22 million people in a country the size of Kansas (which has a population of 2 million). The continuous war is devastating to the people who are just trying to live their lives--and a good deal of them have lost their lives, their living, their homes, and live in fear 24/7.

If your kid(s)' school were bombed, home demolished and you had only 3 armed groups to join you would not be able to recharge your portable device.

It's because they are being bombed to smithereens and they are scared. You would run a mile as well if you were being randomly bombed.

Why don't they stay there and fight instead of wanting the world to fight for them
