Ok let me simplify this for you-
Blood travels in a veins from the brain to the toes, and the veins need to be unobstructed for blood to travel to/from. If there is a blockage or damage to the nerves/veins then blood cannot flow to those areas on the opposite side of the blockage, and when that happens the muscles/organs essentially die.
When you put the skate was put on your left foot, it essentially squeezed the veins so tight the blood flow couldn't move down to your foot/toes. Your foot is likely dead to feeling or in other words paralyzed due to no blood being able to flow into the foot. You could go to the hospital and have surgery to open the veins up again to get blood back into the foot but given its been over 24 hours the odds of you ever having any feeling in your left foot is slim to nil.
