Back when VCRs were a thing, you hooked the cable to the VCR, and then using the same type of cable, you connected to the TV. The VCR would then play back on channel 3 (or 4). If this VCR does not have a cable-like output, you will not be able to connect it to the television.

Would match white and yellow phono connectors to ones on the tv. Set the tv and video to AV channel to view. Grey lead is either a generic remote control or audio out jack. Connection of aerial lead RF is not recommended to wall socket unless the vcr has a full RF band tuner. The RF out lead of the vcr however does need to be connected to the tv otherwise the tape will not load and play correctly- a multipoint aerial amplifier termination resistor connector would also work here as an alternative solution.

Your TV should have three RCA female connectors White - Red and Yellow if it does not then you need a modulator to make those three cables work as a channel 3 input to your cable connection. Usually, the VCR should have a channel 3 or 4 output, a threaded cable connection that connects directly to your TV antenna input. If it is a really old TV then you'll need a cable to balun adapter.

Plug in the AC cord to the wall. Then you have one in and one out terminal. Plug the cable coming out of the wall into the in terminal. Then the short cable gets plugged in to the out terminal then to the TV. As for the buttons and remote, play around with them. There are to many styles. Oh yeah after you got everything plugged push the on button on!

you should buy an adapter from those to whatever input you have
