Is it possible to get pregnant if you have bleeding of the womb?

Update:

Edit: I don't mean during my period. I'll explain my situation.. My period was late, I done a test it was negative, but then my period came 2days after testing. Although - 3.5 weeks later - my period is still here! I phoned the doctor and he said it may be bleeding of the womb caused by contraceptive pill and I will need an examination to confirm - this isn't until next week! However, I google'd "bleeding of the womb" and it seems it was the worst thing to do.

I'm not sure what you mean by bleeding of the womb? Every healthy woman of childbearing age has monthly periods.

If you mean during a period, you can ovulate during a period but implantation would not occur until after the period has ended. So if you're asking if a period is a safe time to have unprotected sex, the answer is no.
