Christians, why do you tell your significant other you'll love them forever when you won't be married together in heaven?

Human emotions today might make this a difficult conclusion to accept. But it is to be noted that nowhere does the Bible say that God’s resurrecting the faithful means restoring their marital status.

Thank God for that. Who'd want to be married forever?

First, not being married doesn't mean you can't love them.

Second, we don't become angels.

Because love, TRUE love, in its "godly" form, is eternal, but marriage is only meant for THIS life. Also, we do not become angels in heaven. Sorry!

The Spirit is the Christ, the bride is the Soul named Jesus, both the Spirit and the Soul will be joined together forever.

We where never to marry one another, we as spirits are married to our flesh, in life, but are given White Robes in death.
