Officially no longer surprised at idea of idiots w/ pitchforks and stakes rabbling outside in the name of toxic ideas in present day America?

Update:

The real question is, why are we emulating the movie Idiocracy at an accelerated rate? I'm becoming unsurprised in this development, and I'm wondering if anyone else sees this too.

Update 2:

I'm also wondering thoughts and comments. I think it may have something to do with frustration with not being able to change things beyond our control, not letting go of the past, and fast paced changes in technology in which people are becoming more dull at the expense of that progress. In this we are attaching to negative states of being as well as losing the ability to think critically. I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I'm just sort of noticing the lunacy in it all.

The "toxic ideas" have been there for a long time, but they are entrenched as the norm so you don't recognize them as such. What you are seeing is a reaction against those ideas by people who understand the context and implications.

Don't confuse passion for idiocy, because only an idiot doesn't know the difference.

Nor should you be. It's been building up to this for years. But Britain and many european countries are dealing with the same thing. More than your other observations, the lack of critical thinking is the most crucial, imo.

What is this, a Rorshach Test? People are supposed to guess what ideas you find toxic?
