Having a master's degree means that you will be overqualified for the kinds of jobs you seem to what, and it won't guarantee you anything. Furthermore, there will be people without degrees who will be competing with you for jobs, and are willing to accept less pay than you. As you get older, your goals will become more realistic. Almost every teen guy in America loves cars and thinks he wants to work on cars his whole life -- then reality sinks in later.

A master's degree in ANYTHING nearly guarantees you WON'T be hired to build, repair, or maintain cars. You may have a chance at DESIGNING them, but you would be considered VASTLY overqualified for any other automotive jobs. Most employers would be concerned you would get bored and more one to something more challenging.

A masters degree would probably guarantee you a job in the office planning future designs.

If you want to be hands on repairing and tuning cars you must get down and get your hands dirty, the best way to learn how to do it is to do it. To do that you need to be in a work shop not a students bar.

That would be a terrible waste of money to work on cars. You should be designing them with a masters degree.

With a master's degree you could teach classes in auto repair.
