Am I the only one who thinks "The Revenant" and "The Hateful 8" look the same?
Both set in snow. Both are violent and brutal. Both have a dark tone to them. Both go for more than two hours, 30 minutes.

They look slightly similar but i can assure you, the stories of the two are completely different

I mean they're both westerns with snow, but that's it. The Hateful Eight a mystery and it's basically a play, it's a one location movie for the most part. It even reminded me of a Hitchcock movie at times. The Revenant is a revenge action movie with not that much dialogue, the experience of watching it is nothing like watching The Hateful Eight.

Yes, I'm sure you are. The Hateful Eight is a cheesy/silly over-the-top Quentin Tarantino film.
The Revenant is a more serious historical drama, and I imagine is a hundred times better.
