I would like to start an online shop buying produce and selling it to make a profit. Is it legal to buy other companies produce and sell it?

    Yes. But how will it work? People want fresh produce. You are going to buy it fresh..and then how are you going to get it to them...fresh?

    Wilted lettuce, bruised bananas, and floppy carrots are going to be annoying to customers.

    How do you think that most other companies work, they buy things from wholesalers, add their own mark-up and resell it.
