In the Old Testament, it is acceptable to stone people. However, historical facts would tell you that you must have at least two males witness this act in person. They would then be interviewed and even if slight details were off, the stoning did not occur. It was rare for stoning to take place. Also, Jesus said, you who is perfect may throw the first stone. If you are to throw a stone, be sure that you never have done anything to make your parents angry, frustrated, or want to "stone" you. Mat 7:1-6 says you will be judged with the same judgment. First of all, the Bible's literal punishments are pretty much things of the past. Secondly, instead of killing your children, you should teach them to listen to you. Thirdly killing is wrong (something stated in the Bible) and is something you should avoid doing. Fourth if this was not convincing enough for you, you will go to jail if caught.
