does scoliosis count as a spinal cord injury?

so new york has just recently opened a dispensary for medical marijuana. But of course they're sooo strict about the patients. It's only offered to people who have these following conditions epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, neuropathies, spinal-cord injuries, cancer, and HIV/AIDS.

i have has scoliosis since i was 14 and they thought i'd grow out of it..well turns out i still have it..my parents tell me and so do others that i have horrible posture. The middle of my back has a hunch/curve and it makes me look like someone who is about to convert to a werewolf..jokes aside, i've been dealing with the pain of it for such a long time, i can't even lay on my stomach or arch my back without it hurting. like if i sleep on my stomach i'll wake up with the WORST pain..where i don't even want to get up. Wearing a corset makes it feel better.

I know it's risky saying this but I smoke weed on a regular basis and i personally think it helps my back pains. I just rather smoke it legally than illegally and have the risk of going to jail.

Update:

i have had*

A spinal cord injury begins with a sudden traumatic blow to the spine that fractures or dislocates vertebrae. Scoliosis involves none of this. There are treatments to manage scoliosis, one of which is the corset that you have and you say it makes you feel better. Physical therapy can also help, as can surgery in certain cases. Wear your brace since it helps. Wear it when you sleep so your back won't hurt so bad when you wake up. Talk to your doctor about physical therapy to help with your symptoms and ask if you are a candidate for corrective surgery. The conditions listed that medical marijuana is offered for have devastating symptoms, many of which lead to death, even with convential medical treatment. You have treatment options. An end stage cancer patient is out of options. Get the appropriate help for your condition. You don't have a condition that is a death sentence.
