I recently purchased a pre owned bmw 3 series. Whenever and only when I turn on the AC the RPM goes to 1 and then drops. It’s also noisy from the inside. When I go to turn it off it also makes noise before shutting off. It only happens with the AC. My previous BMW never did this. Could it be the belt? Or a dirty fuel injector? I’ve been reading on it and it’s giving me several answers. I told the dealership about it and they said it was normal - though like I stated before my other BMW never made this noise. 

I recently financed a car and was in an accident. I slid on black ice and ran into fire hydrant. At first it was going to be fixed but due to a supplementary inspection it was declared a total loss. I live in NYS. I only had the vehicle for less than a month. (HUGE BUMMER) it was a 2018 BMW 3 series x drive. I’m not sure what my options are. I was advice to not take the first offer from the adjuster. I’m insured through Geico. I want to get myself into another car because it’s my only way I can get to work (40 mins away) I only have my rental that’s provided by Geico for less than a week. Could I get some of it fixed (the necessary) and fix the rest on my own? I wasn’t giving the ACV yet but they’re asking for the paperwork from the dealership. I’m really down in the dumps and have never been through any of this any neither have any relatives since they always buy used off the street. This was my first vehicle from a dealership. Any advice is welcomed. Positive advice please. I have researched my KBB value as well as autotrader. I’m in a sensitive time frame. 

I am in a really scary place right now. I am angry and confused of why one of my parents fell victim to covid. I have fallen into depression. I don’t want people to sugar coat things but it’s hard to hear the facts. I’m seeing so many different statistics and since this virus is new, nobody knows what’s true and what isn’t.  One thing is that this virus is 100 percent real and I’m really angry at those who think it’s a joke. I’m living in NY state in a rural town where 3 in 1000 people have this virus. I also think I have it but have been self quarantine since mid March. I would never wish this upon anyone. My parent is in ICU in a medical induced coma. My parent has been in there for almost 3 days now. My parent is young, 49 to be exact. I really am scared she won’t make it but I’m trying to stay positive for myself and my family. This is hard on us since my mom is the most kind and selfless person ever! I really hope she comes out and every day that goes by I hate myself more for not being there enough. It’s heartbreaking not being able to be with her. I hate waking up every day. Please keep her in your prayers please keep all patients in ICU in your prayers or thoughts. Please help me.

Started as crackling static when I would play music, now and then.

Then it became more frequent.

Now it does it even when radio and music is off/muted.

Random times as well.

Super annoying, I can deal with no music but now it does it even with no music.

I recently rescued a 3 yr old pit/rotweiler mutt. He s a ball of energy, he is really gentle towards me and my boyfriend. It s been about three days since we ve had him ..he is crate trained, he enjoys his walks. He s usually in his crate but does tend to roam the house when he isnt on his walks. The problems we ve been having is that he darts away from us if he is off his leash. When he does roam around he just paces back and forth and he seems uneasy. We also have a little dog, she is a girl and is a miniature dachshund. When they initially met he didnt seem so interested in her but would try to play with her. She is VERY friendly and would try to play with him she is really sweet, wouldn t hurt an ant. Today when we took him out of his crate he was fine with her at first but then his tail stopped wagging and I could tell he was about to nip at her neck, my bf held the leash and picked up the little dog. My bf also told me that he growled at her earlier because she sniffed his bed. I don t want to bring him back to the shelter bc he was a long term resident and it was reallly emotional for the staff when he left, to the point where someone said I dont wanna see you here no more buddy I dont wanna just hand back the dog bc of that but I m also concerned for my little dogs safety. This is causing me so much stress

My car radio was working fine yesterday and today there is no sound coming from anywhere. The radio itself is still on, i can still scroll and pick a station/bluetooth. It's not an aftermarket radio. Please help!

So I graduated in 2015 and haven t gone to college yet. I want to go but can t afford it financially and that s what has been holding me back. I don t know anything about college or how to apply or ANYTHING. I feel so dumb. All my friends are almost graduating and I have yet to attend. I have nobody who can help me. What makes it worse is that I wasn t the best student in HS. Pretty much a C-D student. I was barely passing. I actually graduated in 2016 because I was left back. My counselor told me I had no chance of getting into any college. That really unmotivated me. I feel so stupid. My friends told me community college isn t worth it and I should try and apply to 4 year colleges. I m 20 years old with no idea in what im doing. I feel like a failure. I m thousands of dollars in debt. I know what I wanna do in my life so I don t wanna wait in community college. Also I was wondering how I could apply to a school out of country. Can someone help me?! I just wanna live comfortable and get out of debt!!!

I'm 20 years old and am employed, was kicked out and crashing at my partners house. I just enrolled into community college for the fall but scored so low on the placement test, practically all high school courses. I feel so stupid. All the kids i went to school with have been in school and traveling the world. Yet im here not doing anythinf getting old with no savings and 5 grand in debt. I feel like such a failure. I cant let go of the past either i always feel like im still in high school when i graduated two years ago. Idk what to do. Sometimes i just wanna get away from everything. My counselor told me i had an overdue book from the school library and that the fine was $25, however I don t want to pay $25 for school that put me through hell so can they really not let not let me get my diploma for a overdue book or do I actually have to pay the fine. I m not walking the stage. Is there a law? I don t want to pay the fine and it is unfair to not let me have my diploma for that. No rude answers.

no hate on my fellow natives, i am aztec and know my ancestors lived on what now is Texas and parts of California before the border cut them off and became the united states, so why is it that we don't have the same benefits as some of the native americans? I catch myself crying almost every single night. I go on social media like & its filled with these gorgeous curvy girls. I brought up how i was a pear shape to my mom and she laughed and said i was a stick. The only one to tell me im beautiful is my boyfriend. I'm just a stick with an ugly face. My *** is flat and full of cellulite, i have no breasts what so ever and my nose is huge. My eyes look like they're always tired and i have the worst under eyes. Even when i wear makeup im still ugly. The only time i feel "beautiful" is when im making love with my boyfriend. I've picked up on a pattern, my boyfriend is very faithful and doesnt look at any women really. But every time we hangout sex has to be involved..i say no but he says please just five minutes and so i let him, but once he drops me off i don't hear from him unless i hit him up first. He then replies slow because he's always playing video games..when i call him i i tell him that i feel a certain way about how im being used and he just says he loves me and he cries over me and how im perfect. But i just told him how insecure i am and he said he wanted to talk when he got home, and i just said whatever and started crying on the phone and hung up. It's been ten minutes wouldn't someone who cares for you call? I just really hate my body and self i hate my ugly face. My parents said it's because I chose the time where business is slow. I have a couple shirts from a boutique store LF, with the tags still on it..i bought it this summer but NEVER wore it..it was pricey too it cost me 108 as it states on the tag. how could i sell it? how is the process of it? should i sell it for cheap?

i have has scoliosis since i was 14 and they thought i'd grow out of it..well turns out i still have it..my parents tell me and so do others that i have horrible posture. The middle of my back has a hunch/curve and it makes me look like someone who is about to convert to a werewolf..jokes aside, i've been dealing with the pain of it for such a long time, i can't even lay on my stomach or arch my back without it hurting. like if i sleep on my stomach i'll wake up with the WORST pain..where i don't even want to get up. Wearing a corset makes it feel better.

I know it's risky saying this but I smoke weed on a regular basis and i personally think it helps my back pains. I just rather smoke it legally than illegally and have the risk of going to jail.
